January 2012

Greetings Chamber Members!

As we welcome the New Year with enthusiasm, it’s important to reflect on the successes of 2011. The past year was very productive and exciting for the Chamber, and we thought now would be the perfect time to review the events we’ve held, as they have brought so many of us together to network professionally and further develop business relationships in our broad community.

We kicked off 2011 by welcoming Senator Scott Brown, followed by several successful networking events in the first quarter.
In April we were lucky to have Attorney General Martha Coakley speak at an event as well as participate in a multi-chamber networking event in Waltham.
Congressman Markey joined us in May for a luncheon.
June found us networking at two more events in the area.
The Military Affairs Council hosted a rich and varied cultural outing in Historic Lowell in August.
Fall ushered in a flurry of activity, including a Health & Wellness evening run by our Women in Business Group, a MAC Sustaining Breakfast sponsored by Raytheon, and a successful networking breakfast at Streamline Air at Hanscom Field.
At our Annual Dinner and Business Expo in November, State Treasurer Steve Grossman delivered encouraging news about the state’s financial status.
Finally, we ended the year on a festive note at the Woburn Hilton for our annual “Toys for Kids” party, where we were able to significantly support the causes of the Council of Social Concern.

We are a strong and growing Chamber! Every event brings members together where a special synergy occurs as we socialize. Thanks to all of you for helping NSCC thrive and grow. Here at the Chamber our motto is “Our Business Is Your Business!”

We are here for you to answer any questions or address any concerns, entertain your ideas, and work hard to bring you meaningful and interesting opportunities to connect with other Chamber members.
